Compassion Club - Eric Hamber

We spread positive energy to the community.   
- Designing the promotions of events and messages on Instagram
- As a team, we communicate weekly on ideas, plans, understand goals 
- Events include, Wellness Wednesday (monthly, giving healthy snacks) to promote healthy habits, Therapy Dogs (yearly, bringing a trained dog to help students with mental health during exam times),  Pink Day Post-It Notes (Pink Shirt Day,  write up Post-It notes on the school lockers with encouraging messages),  Bags of Hope (yearly,  Fundraise for Project Poverty Club to create care packages for agencies.

Boogaloo Academy
- Volunteer coach assistant, 2021-2023, Spring Break Camp 5-7 yrs 
- Volunteer coach assistant, 2021-2023, Summer Camps 5-7 yrs
Focus: Helped coaches bring energy and focus to the children. 
Helped coaches with specific needs of children, danced and sang with them, prepared fun activities between dance lessons, mediated group dynamics.  I think my best take-away is how much I learn from watching different coaches and their styles of teaching.  I admire educators.

Telus - Telus Day of Giving
- Volunteer, June 2019, Carnival at Van Horne Elementary
Focus: Bringing energy and community to event.
Hosting games with lots of energy, selling food and snacks, keeping up with the pace of the fun, taking down decoration and cleaning up school grounds.  I learn a lot from fundraising and how resourceful coordinators have to be to bring people together and raise funds for a cause.  School raised $2800 in 4 hours!

Cards Club  - Eric Hamber

Focus: Bringing members together through cards
Hosting games.  Learning new games and sometimes friendly competitions.   Dates are Tuesdays and Thursdays at lunch.
